Thank you for stopping by my blog! I hope you’ll find useful information here, whether you’re an aspiring author, book lover, dreamer or traveler. I encourage each and every one of you to pursue whatever it is that makes you happy. In the summer of 2009 I quit my full-time job to write my first novel. I realized my time is more valuable than money. I have been working part-time ever since…and now I have two completed novels!
Q: What is “The Trouble with Twenty-Two” ?
The Trouble with Twenty-Two is the title of my first novel. The characters were 22 years old and the “trouble” was figuring out what they were meant to do with their lives. That manuscript is a ‘drawer’ novel now, but I learned so much in the process of writing it.
Q: How often do you post?
I post once a week, updating this blog every Wednesday.
Q: Are your books published?
No. I am seeking traditional publication and I have never self-published my work. I intend to sign with a literary agent in order to find my second novel a home at a publisher.
Q: What is your genre?
Women’s fiction. My favorite authors in the genre are Marian Keyes, Jennifer Weiner, Emily Giffin and most recently Allie Larkin and Sarah Jio.
Q: Can I email you to suggest a topic I’d like to learn more about?
Definitely! My posts are geared towards aspiring authors and the publishing industry, but also apply to anyone who wants to chase a creative goal. I’ve started working for myself as a freelance writer, so I intend to include more posts on solopreneurship.
